Since 2019, Olleco has celebrated top drivers through our Driver of the Year award - recognising excellence in safety, speed use, braking and cornering. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to best driving practices across Olleco.
Olleco has always championed best practice in driving. In 2019, Olleco introduced the Driver of the Year competition which rewards impressive safety scores over a range of driving performance measures including breaking, cornering and correct speed.
The top 10 drivers from across Olleco were invited to a nail-biting final that put their skills to the test. All aspects of the role were covered from vehicle pre-op checks and collecting/delivering oil to reversing and safety techniques in order to crown the ultimate winner. Congratulations to Louis Smith from Olleco Cornwall who has now won the competition for the second year in a row - an outstanding achievement.
The day ended with an afternoon of some fun archery and Mario Kart competitions.
