Yes. We supply all of our customers with food waste bins free of charge.

Our food waste bins are lined to maintain hygiene levels. The liners are removed and replaced with each collection. A bin cleaning service is also available for an additional fee if required.

Our collection rounds are highly flexible and can be arranged to suit the amount of food waste you produce and how much space you have to store it. Our customer service teams will be able to advise what is available in your area.

All of the food waste we collect is processed at anaerobic digestion plants. This ensures the best possible environmental outcome for your food waste.

We’ll take most types of food waste including peelings and plate waste. We can also take some primary packaging and our customer service teams will be able to advise you on your particular type of waste. The only animal by products we are able to accept are those categorised as ABP CAT 3 food waste (products or foods of animal origin originally meant for human consumption). We will also accept liquid food waste once we have established its suitability for the anaerobic digestion plant.

Food waste collection will become mandatory for businesses in Wales from April 2024. The new Waste Regulations will apply to businesses producing more than 5kg of food waste per week. All businesses, charities and public sector organisations will need to separate their waste and have it collected for recycling.
