Andrea has recently been appointed as the Minister of State for Energy in the Department for Energy and Climate change.  

As our support office is based in her constituency, she wanted to come along and find out more about what we are doing in the world of renewable energy.

She first attended a presentation with Olleco’s CEO, Robert Behan, Commercial Director, Adam Baisley and Finance Director, Norman Heskin. She then went on to explain how the government wants to support the renewable energy industry but needs it to become more cost effective for the consumer first.

Adam Baisley commented: “It was fantastic to share Olleco’s successes with Andrea and a great opportunity to hear first-hand how the government intends to tackle climate change.”
