On Friday 25th July, the University of Newcastle held a Supplier Excellence Award event. Out of 400 suppliers to the university, the top 25 were invited to attend the occasion.
Our North East depot were asked along and we came away winning the Environmental Award for our innovations in used cooking oil and food waste collections.
We are delighted to receive such recognition and will continue to work closely with the university to offer the most sustainable and carbon efficient solutions to their organic waste.
