Olleco beat off some impressive competition to be announced the winners of the ‘Innovation in Food Waste collection’ award.
The 2014 UK AD & Biogas (ADBA) Industry Awards took place on Wednesday 2nd July with a sell out attendance.
The awards are held annually to showcase the achievements and innovations made by companies within the AD industry and to reward the ‘best of the best’ in their class.

Since first winning this award in 2012, Olleco’s collection service has expanded by 300% and now covers the whole of the UK from the Highlands of Scotland to the Isle of Wight. The company has developed a service that not only saves their customers money but also significantly reduces their impact on the environment. Producing waste is unavoidable but by using Olleco, producers of food waste can be confident that they are converting waste into a valuable resource in the form of green biogas and compost as well as avoiding polluting the environment by sending waste to landfill.
